2019 Update

Lovely to see a big bunch of cria running around this year after we took a break from breeding and showing to do some overseas travel. Most of the boys will be up for sale in the coming weeks and a few of the older dams to make way for their daughters to join the breeding herd.

The alpacas have now been shorn, cria are bouncing around in the spring grass and our new stud males, Dynamo and Inception, are lined up for 2018. Enjoy the summer break.

Ataahua NZ Natalia was awarded Champion Black Female. Ataahua NZ Inception was awarded Reserve Champion Black Male at his first show.  

Champion Black Franklin Show

Ataahua NZ Natalia was awarded Champion Black at Franklin A&P Show after placing first in the junior black female class. Ataahua NZ Dynamo won first in the junior black male class too.

Ataahua NZ Dynamo was awarded Champion Black at Rotorua A&P Show 2016 after winning the junior black male class. Ataahua NZ Estella also placed first in the junior black female.

Champion Black Waikato Show

Ataahua NZ Estella was awarded Champion Black at Waikato A&P Show after placing first in the junior black female class. Ataahua NZ Dynamo was awarded 1st place in the junior black male class.

National Alpaca Expo

Ataahua Alpacas entered two black junior males in the AANZ National Show from 18-20th September 2015. Dynamo (below) placed 2nd and Matai placed 3rd. We are very pleased with their results and look forward to showing them more over the Summer.  

Egmont A&P Show Success

Ataahua NZ Tamsin awarded Reserve Champion Junior Female Huacaya at her first show. Another successful daughter of Andean Gold Tamara that will be used in our black breeding programme.

Mayzie arrives in Austria

Ataahua NZ Mayzie-Dayzie has arrived safely at her new home in Austria at Oberstein Alpacas. We must thank Christoph and Madlene for choosing Mayzie and we hope that Mayzie brings success to their grey breeding.
